COLLECTIONS

The ENVELOPE collection amounted to €801 and the  Share collection    came to €470. Many thanks for your generosity.

Thanks to all who contribute to parish funds through standing order.

If anyone else would like to use this method of donation, forms are available in the sacristy.

Pastoral Council

Thank you to all who came along to our meeting last week with a view to forming a new Pastoral Council. We are very grateful for your interest in the work of the Parish. There are still a few vacancies on the new Council, and we invite anyone interested to contact Fr. Donal.

BAPTISM

Parents who wish to have their child Baptised are invited to attend a meeting beforehand. The next meeting will take place in the Church  on Wed, 30th  Nov at 7:30pm

Altar Servers

Training for Altar servers continues each Saturday at 4pm

CONFIRMATION

All Candidates who wish to register for Confirmation in 2012 must come along with their Parents / Guardians to the  Ceremony of Commitment which will take place during 12 o’clock Mass next Sun 13th Nov.

FIRST COMMUNION

Our “Do This in Memory” programme in preparation for next year’s First Holy Communion continues  on Sunday 20th Nov.

10.30am Mass for the children from Archbishop Ryan school.

12.00 Mass for the children from G.V.E.T., Ghaelscoil Eiscir Riada & Lucan East  E. Together.

November Mass

The Annual Mass to remember those Parishioners who died during the past year takes place this Wednesday 9th November at 7.30pm.

Gluten free hosts are available for anyone with coeliac condition or on a gluten free diet, please speak to Fr Donal before Mass.

Catholic Youth Care

Catholic Youth Care, the Diocesan Youth Service will hold their annual collection at all Masses next week-end. This will replace the usual Share collection.

Sympathy

We would like to offer our deepest sympathy to the family of Sean McKee who died tragically during the week. May he rest in peace.

November Rota

The November Rota for Eucharistic Ministers, Readers and Welcome Group is available at the back of the Church.

CHILD PROTECTION

Our Parish has a very strong Child Protection Policy in place which is  reviewed regularly by the Parish Pastoral Council. A copy is available for inspection.

PARENT & TODDLER

Need to get out more ? Balgaddy parent & toddler group, running each Tuesday from 10.30 – 12 noon in The Bush Centre. Come along for a chat while the children have fun.

NEW ROMAN MISSAL

We are using some parts of the translations from the New Roman Missal. Please use the cards provided and leave them at the back of the Church when finished.

SICK & HOMEBOUND

Ministers of the Eucharist would be happy to bring Holy Communion to the sick and homebound.  Contact;  Fr. Donal or Parish Sisters.
