Blessed John Paul II

A special Mass will take place here at 8pm  next Monday evening 28th Nov. to celebrate the presentation of a first class relic of Blessed John Paul to our parish.

This is one of only two in Ireland, and was presented to our parish thanks to the prayers and requests of our Divine Mercy Prayer Group.

Christmas Mass Bouquets

Christmas Mass Bouquet cards are available in the Parish office. All Masses on Christmas Eve & Christmas Day will be offered for the intentions of those on our Mass bouquet list.

The ENVELOPE collection amounted to €646 and the  SHARE collection    came to €465. Many thanks for your generosity.

Thanks to all who contribute to parish funds through standing order.

If anyone else would like to use this method of donation, forms are available in the sacristy.

BAPTISM

Parents who wish to have their child Baptised are invited to attend a meeting beforehand. The next meeting will take place in the Church  this Wed, 30th  Nov at 7:30pm

Altar Servers

Training for Altar servers continues each Saturday at 4pm

Christmas Carol Concert

A concert of carols in aid of the Peter McVerry Trust will be held in St Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin

CONFIRMATION

The Confirmation programme will continue at 12 o’clock Mass on Sunday 4th  Dec.

FIRST COMMUNION

Our “Do This in Memory” programme in preparation for next year’s First Holy Communion continues  on Sunday 18th Dec.

CHILD PROTECTION

Our Parish has a very strong Child Protection Policy in place which is  reviewed regularly by the Parish Pastoral Council. A copy is available for inspection.

NEW ROMAN MISSAL

The translation of the New Roman Missal comes in to use this week-end, the first Sunday of Advent. Please use the cards provided and leave them at the back of the Church when finished.

SICK & HOMEBOUND

Ministers of the Eucharist would be happy to bring Holy Communion to the sick and homebound.  Contact; Fr. Donal or Parish Sisters.
