COLLECTIONS

The ENVELOPE collection amounted to €719 and the  SHARE collection    came to €360. Many thanks for your generosity.

Thanks to all who contribute to parish funds through standing order.

If anyone else would like to use this method of donation, forms are available in the sacristy.

Adoration takes place every Friday from

10:00am – 3:00pm.

Divine Mercy Prayer Group

BAPTISM

Parents who wish to have their child Baptised are invited to attend a meeting beforehand. The next meeting will take place in the Church  on Wed 4th Jan 2012 at 7:30pm


Altar Servers

Training for Altar servers continues each Saturday at 4pm 


Christmas Mass Bouquets

Christmas Mass Bouquet cards are available in the Parish office. All Masses on Christmas Eve & Christmas Day will be offered for the intentions of those on our Mass bouquet list.

St Vincent de Paul

The Annual Christmas Appeal by St Vincent de Paul takes place at all Masses this week-end. We ask you to be as generous as you can in these difficult times.


FIRST COMMUNION

Our “Do This in Memory” programme in preparation for next year’s First Holy Communion continues  next Sunday 18th Dec.

10.30am Mass for the children from Archbishop Ryan school.

12.00 Mass for the children from G.V.E.T., Ghaelscoil Eiscir Riada & Lucan East  Educ. Tog. 


Carols by Candlelight

Our parish Carol Service takes place here this Wed 14th Dec at 8pm, featuring Archbishop Ryan School Choir, the Folk Group from Esker/Dodsboro & Adamstown and our own Parish Choir.

Please come along and enjoy an evening of uplifting music.


Children’s Choir

We are hoping to start a children’s choir to sing each week at 10.30 Mass. We will begin by singing at the family Mass at 6.30 on Christmas Eve. Practise continues this Tues 13th Dec at 6pm.   Parents whose children are interested should give their names to Colette after Mass.

CHILD PROTECTION

Our Parish has a very strong Child Protection Policy in place which is  reviewed regularly by the Parish Pastoral Council. A copy is available for inspection.  


SICK & HOMEBOUND

Ministers of the Eucharist would be happy to bring Holy Communion to the sick and homebound.  Contact:  Fr. Donal or Parish Sisters.  


COELIAC

Gluten free hosts are available for anyone with coeliac condition or on a gluten free diet, please speak to Fr Donal before Mass.
