BAPTISM

Parents who wish to have their child Baptised are invited to attend a meeting beforehand. The next meeting will take place in the Church on Wednesday 11th December at 7.30pm

Weekly Envelopes

If you contribute weekly through the numbered envelopes – your box will soon be coming to an end. Please pick up a new box from the Sacristy or from the Parish Office.
If anyone would like to donate to the Parish through monthly Standing Order please call to the Parish office for a form.

Christmas Concert

The Choirs of the Parish and the primary schools will perform a concert of Christmas music here in the Church this Wednesday 4th December at 7pm

Youth Conference

An International Youth Conference for all 16 – 35 year olds will take place at Clongowes Wood College, Clane, Co Kildare from 27th – 30th December. www.afcmteamireland.org

St Vincent de Paul

The Annual Christmas Appeal by St Vincent de Paul takes place at all Masses next week-end.
As they say – ‘Christmas is not the same for everyone’
This year’s collection is of critical importance’ as the organisation is experiencing a huge increase in calls for assistance.

Christmas Mass Bouquets

Christmas Mass Bouquet cards are available this week in the Parish office. All Masses on Christmas Eve & Christmas Day will be offered for the intentions of those on our Mass Bouquet list.

Look out for your Neighbour

As we are now coming into the darkest evenings of the year, please be mindful of your neighbours who may be elderly or less inclined to venture out at this time. Why not drop in and check on them and perhaps offer to drive them to Mass if they need assistance.

Also, Ministers of the Eucharist would be happy to bring Holy Communion to anyone who is sick and housebound, just contact the Parish Office.

Child Protection

Please see the Child Protection noticeboard at the back of the church for helpful information. Volunteers who work with children in our parish are Garda vetted and we regularly organise safeguarding training sessions for volunteers.

ADORATION

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Chaplet of Divine Mercy takes place here each Monday & Thursday 2pm – 3pm.
We would like to invite some new people to come and join us for this quiet time with the Lord.

Eucharistic Ministers

The Pastoral Council has requested a slight change in the distribution of Communion to choir members.
If the choir is still singing when you have completed distribution of Communion to the congregation, please take the Ciborium back to the Altar and the Priest or Deacon will give Communion to the choir when they finish singing.
