There is now a newly formed gardening team of volunteers in Divine Mercy who have been hard at work in the beautiful sunshine brightening up the Church grounds. As with all the Church groups they are always looking for more people to help out so if you want to pitch in get in touch with the parish office and they will put you in touch.
Thanks to the very generous and appreciated donations of friends of the parish a team of volunteers have been busy planting around the Church and as I am sure you can see from the pictures below they have the place looking fantastic.
Lavender in memory of Hughie O’Connor RIP
The family of Hughie O’ Connor RIP have donated 6 French lavender plants in his memory as he loved his time in Lourdes (France). They have been planted at the side entrance of the Church which is used for daily masses as well as private prayer as well as the weekends. The beautiful fragrance will help passers by experience some peace and calm in a hectic world and we hope they will spare a prayer for Mr. O’Connor and his family.
Hanging baskets in memory of John Fitzgerald RIP
The family of John Fitzgerald RIP have donated hanging baskets to our Gardening Committee of Divine Mercy. They contain Sweet Pea and Nasturtiums so there is an abundance of colour to come. They have been placed at the Church side entrance. Our thoughts, prayers and gratitude go to the family of John Fitzgerald RIP for their generosity.
Hanging baskets in memory of Martin Killoch RIP and his grandson Dylan Kelly RIP
The family of Martin Killoch RIP and his grandson Dylan Kelly RIP have donated hanging baskets to our Gardening Committee of Divine Mercy. The baskets contain Sweet Pea, Nasturtiums, Petunas and Sweet William so they will fill the air with gentle scents and beauty which are sure to impact on everyone who passes by. They have been placed at the Church main entrance and we hope those who pass by will spare a prayer for Mr. Killoch, Dylan and their families.
